MOTHER

is considered the definitive portrait of the 1979 Noble
Peace Prize winner, Mother Teresa who was canonized posthumously
in 2003. Shot over a period of five years in ten countries
on four continents, the film is a once in a lifetime experience

HELEN
KELLER: This
is the story of a normal, attractive child who, at 18 months
of age was suddenly shut off from the world of sight and
sound. Through courage and faith, Helen Keller grew into
a highly intelligent and sensitive woman who wrote, spoke,
and labored incessantly for the betterment of others. So
powerful, a symbol of triumph over adversity did she become,
that she has a definite place in history and in the 20th
century. |

ROGER
BANNISTER: In
1954 a young medical student made headlines around the world
with one of the landmark events of 20th century sports history.
At the time, it was thought to be impossible for a human
being to run a mile in under four minutes. The world record
of 4:01.3 had stood for nine years, and experts regarded
this time as an insurmountable human limitation.
Roger Bannister thought otherwise. He had already won the
British championship in the event, and he applied his scientific
training and medical knowledge to smashing the four-minute
barrier. On May 6, 1954, he set a new world record, running
the mile in 3:59.4 while fighting a 15 mile-per-hour crosswind.
His record was later broken by Australian John Landy, but has
been broken many a times since then. |

THE
STRAWBERRY STORY: This Making A Difference
Video stresses on “Living Every Moment” of your
life. Too often we spend our time worrying about every thing
that happened to us in the past. And too often we spend
too much time worrying about what might happen to us in
the future. Or worst of all we spend too much time worrying
about the nibbling, nagging worries of each and every day
and when a true strawberry in our life comes along, we forget
to pluck it, eat it and most of all - “Enjoy
it….” |
|
|

HOPE:
'Hope is the pillar that holds up the world.
Hope is the dream of a waking man.
Hope is independent of the apparatus of logic.
Hope is the only bee that makes honey without flowers.'
These are some of the quotes on HOPE. These can also be
termed as definitions of HOPE. It is a deep rooted emotion.
As the quotes float by on the screen, they will help inspire,
motivate and “warm up” your audience, making
this video the perfect opening/ closing for your training
session, speech or presentation. |
|
|
 |
PASSION:
'There is no end. There is no beginning.
There is only the infinite passion of life.'
To hide a passion totally (or even to hide, more simply,
it is excess) is inconceivable: not because the human subject
is too weak, but because passion is in essence made to be
seen: the hiding must be seen. Without passion man is a
mere latent force and possibility, like the flint which
awaits the shock of the iron before it can give forth its
spark. Passion is universal humanity. Without it religion,
history, romance and art would be useless. This clip encompasses
individuals from all walks of life. |
|
|
 |
WINNING:
'Never give up, never give in, and when the upper hand is
ours,
may we have the ability to handle the win with the dignity
that we absorbed the loss.'
From the Fun and Joy at Work production team comes the clip
on winning. Punchy music and analogy of the sports-world,
the same rules apply in business. |

THE
DISAPPEARING SANDBEACH... a story about change: Far off in the sea is an island, born of erupting volcano,
with the wind and rain and the pounding waves. And on this
island is a wonderful, wide, white sand beach. Since the
birth of the island, this beach would not stay put. The
sea would take back the white sand. Even when a big storm
and ten thousand storms struck, left only rough-black volcanic
rock, the surf would settle, the white sand would return
to the shore and become once again a beautiful, wide beach.
It would be wider and whiter than it was before, and the
storm would bring more fish to the island, to feed the birds
and the animals. All of the living things of the island
understood and accepted. Until the humans came. Isn't
there a question for reflection: How is the storm
a metaphor for change that we are experiencing in many aspects
of our lives (i.e., global changes, economy, careers and
family)? |

EVEN
NOW & RIGHT NOW: Much of the beauty
you admire and enjoy is really your own beauty being reflected
back to you. The beauty you nurture inside yourself is what
enables you to see beauty in the world around you. Beauty
speaks in the language of the heart. It is powerful and
wonderful because it touches something within you, and does
so in a profound way. Delight in the beauty you experience,
and it increases the positive energy available to you. Look
at life through thankful and loving eyes, and you'll find
much of it to be beautiful. There is beauty in every direction
-- in your world, in your home, your family, the work you
do, the things you love, your faith, and the people in your
life. Appreciate and enjoy the beauty that is all around
you, and you bring the abundance of that beauty to life.
When you find joy in beauty, it is because you are truly
beautiful. Take delight in beauty, and you've made even
more. A two-part series, the clips emphasize the importance
of what you have at hand - "The Present". |

COMPANIES
DON'T SUCCEED PEOPLE DO!: Companies ........It
is a law of human nature that your employee will never treat
customers any better than they are being treated . There
are certainly many managers who’ll disagree and say,
“They work here, they get paid and they treat customers
the way I tell them to treat customers.” This theory
looks good on paper but it simply doesn’t work.
The managers who truly understand this simple premise are
the managers of the future. As a leader, they realize that
most employees don’t care how much you care. Therefore,
a great deal of their time is spent listening, educating
and trying to create the kind of environment that allows
people to reach their full potential. They also understand
that implementing effective recognition programs to celebrate
successes and to thank people for a job well done is crucial
to having happy and motivated employees. |

interview is a serious conversation about business, how
you react to stress, and what kind of person you really
are. In this clip, a mortal (you) interviews an immortal
(God) on the purpose of life. |

THE
LION AND THE STATUE: A Man
and a Lion traveled together through the forest. They soon
began to boast of their respective superiority to each other
in strength and prowess. As they were disputing, they passed
a statue carved in stone, which represented "a Lion
strangled by a Man." The traveler pointed to it and
said: "See there! How strong we are, and how we prevail
over even the king of beasts." The Lion replied: "This
statue was made by one of you men. If we Lions knew how
to erect statues, you would see the Man placed under the
paw of the Lion."
One
story is good, till another is told. |

THE
FOX AND THE GOAT: A Fox one
day fell into a deep well and could find no means of escape.
A Goat, overcome with thirst, came to the same well, and seeing
the Fox, inquired if the water was good. Concealing his sad
plight under a merry guise, the Fox indulged in a lavish praise
of the water, saying it was excellent beyond measure, and
encouraging him to descend. The Goat, mindful only of his
thirst, thoughtlessly jumped down, but just as he drank, the
Fox informed him of the difficulty they were both in and suggested
a scheme for their common escape. "If," said he,
"you will place your forefeet upon the wall and bend
your head, I will run up your back and escape, and will help
you out afterwards." The Goat readily assented and the
Fox leaped upon his back. Steadying himself with the Goat's
horns, he safely reached the mouth of the well and made off
as fast as he could. When the Goat upbraided him for breaking
his promise, he turned around and cried out, "You foolish
old fellow! If you had as many brains in your head as you
have hairs in your beard, you would never have gone down before
you had inspected the way up, nor have exposed yourself to
dangers from which you had no means of escape."
Look before you leap. |

THE
TRUMPETEER WHO WAS TAKEN PRISONER: A
Trumpeter, bravely leading on the soldiers, was captured
by the enemy. He cried out to his captors, "Pray spare
me, and do not take my life without cause or without inquiry.
I have not slain a single man of your troop. I have no arms,
and carry nothing but this one brass trumpet." "That
is the very reason for which you should be put to death,"
they said; "for, while you do not fight yourself, your
trumpet stirs all the others to battle."
Words may be deeds. |
